5 Nights 6 Days Bhutan Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Paro, Bhutan

Our Guide and driver will greet you at Airport and drive towards Thimphu. On your way visit Tamchog Lhakhang.

After arrival in Thimphu, check into hotel, refresh yourself and get ready to take a short tour of Thimphu.

A month long prayers at Buddha Point for well being of People

After lunch visit Buddha point, National memorial Chorten, Tashichhodzong and centenary Farmer’s market. Evening you can stroll down the Thimphu city exploring more on by yourself.

Day 2: Thimphu Tour

Morning drive towards 20 km north of Thimphu for Tango Cheri Monastery hike.

After lunch continue your sightseeing visiting Bhutan postal museum, Changangkha lhakhang, folk heritage museum and school of traditional arts and crafts.

Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha

Drive over the Dochula Pass. On the arrival, visit Punakha Dzong – the “Palace of Great Happiness”.  After lunch, enjoy a walk to Chimi Lhakhang, temple of the Drukpa Kuenley , who is also known as the Divine Madman. Overnight at your hotel at Punakha or Wangduephodrang.

Day 4: Punakha – Paro

Drive to Yabesa Village and hike through rice fields and up to Khamsum Yueley Namgyal Chorten. Take a picnic lunch on a picturesque riverside before exploring the WangduephodrangDzong.

Afterwards proceed to Paro visiting Semtokha Dzong en-route. On arrival at Paro check into the hotel. Overnight at your hotel at Paro

Day 5: Hike to Tiger Nest Monastery

Are you ready? We will be making the hike up to one of the key highlights in Bhutan today! Tiger’s Nest, Taktsang Monastery.

Taktsang Monastery – A one hour hike to the cafeteria is also a vantage view whereby you can enjoy the stunning view of the monastery. Prayer flags adorn the cliffs and this is also where Guru Padmasambhava landed on the back of a tigress in the 8th century.

Kyichu Lhakhang – After a sumptuous local lunch, we will retrace our steps to visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan.

Day 6: Depart from Paro

Today we will bid fond farewell to this beautiful Himalayan country and take an early flight back to Singapore. We hope by now you would have made some friends and also kept many photos and beautiful memories of Bhutan! And we look forward to seeing you again in this beautiful land of endless Enchantments!
